I have nothing on Phoebe Beller but her husbands name of Burwell Smith and I know that she is the sister of our ELI BELLER who is the direct line of my husbands family. ELI BELLER married MARY POLLY CAMPBELL on March 19, 1796 in GERMANTOWN, STOKES CO. NC. We need more data also on MARY POLLY CAMPBELL and her parents. Mary Polly Campbell was b. abt. 1778 in Stokes Co. NC, and we know that she and Eli Beller then moved to Lincoln Co. TN, and later we think that after Mary Polly Campbell Beller died, that ELI BELLER and his sons moved to MADISON CO. AL. They lived there for some time prior to the sons moving then to NW ARKANSAS in what is today BOONE CO. AR. We believe that ELI BELLER died in ALABAMA abt. 1831, but I have no data on location of his gravesite. The CAMPBELLS and BELLERS intermarried for 3 generations, if I recall correctly. There are at least 3 PETER BELLER's beginning with the first one who was PETER BELLER b. 1685 Zurich Switzerland. Most of the BELLER families have confused our BELLER family being out of the line of JACOB BEILER/ BIELER/ BEYELER, but our BELLERS were LANCASTER Co. PA by 1728 before JACOB BEYELER/ BIELER/ BEILER had entered the U. S. from Switzerland. PETER BELLER b. 1685 already had MONASTIC records in Lancaster Co. PA at EPHRATA in 1728. There were two PETER BELLERS following the one b. 1685, and that name passed on in our Beller family for generations. Tina Rogers Beller

1. PETER3 BELLER (PETER2, PETER1) was born Abt. 1736, and died 1828 in Patrick Co., Virginia. He married ELIZABETH UNKNOWN Bef. 1761. She was born Abt. 1736, and died Unknown.
