Dear Bevley:
I really don't have info on "your" Stoker kin in England, but you are the first person I have seen to mention Durham England. The records show that "our" Stoker kin in USA started out in Durham several hundred years ago.Presumably he/they left about 1700 - I really don't know when.If you have any modern day contacts with anyone in Durham city or county - anyone interested in genealogy, i'd be glad to exchange emails.

My grandfather JJStoker was born in Alabama, lived and died in Weatherford Tx near FtWorth. We had traced our Stokers back to NC and Virginia, but some record saws earlierkin came from Durham.
