Has anyone followed up on the line of Averill Belknap and husband Admiral Andrew Robert Mack? A Mack cousin asked me a few weeks ago for information on descendants of this couple as he has documents and photos to send to them; I did very well in finding information until I hit Memphis - brick wall and getting nowhere, despite queries, requests to volunteer look ups, etc.... Averill was b. 02 Mar 1903 in Rhode Island; md about 1922/23 to Admiral Andrew Robert Mack who was b 1896 in Londonderry, NH; he d 1977 in Williamstown, Berkshire, MA and Averill d. 29 Jan 1994 in Memphis, Shelby, TN. but is buried in Berkshire County, also. I am having a problem obtaining an obituary which I need to find the descendants' names/locations at the time of her death....(the library in Memphis charges 25.00 per hour + 5.00 shipping + cost of copies)....The children are Robert Mack who was deceased before 1977 and son John who died after this date - I think he was an attorney in Memphis... If anyone has any further information on this couple, please forward to me... we would like to see the documents and photos sent to family members...thank you for your help...
