Hard to read. IGI lists an Israel Belknap b. 6 Sep 1803, Little Britain, Orange Co, NY to John Belknap and Dorcas Peet. I also found son Dwight m. Lydia Engram 23 Sep 1871 in Calhoun Co, MI. (about 20 miles away) 1850 census has two listings for Israel and Peninah, 3 pages apart. Not sure why, children are slightly different. on p 305, 3 children: Dwight 18, Mary 16, ? dau 7, p 308, 3 children: Margaret 19, Dwight, 9, Alalya 7. Notify Administrator about this message?
