Hello Mrs. Murray! The information you posted might be just what I am looking for :)) All the information I've got is a marriage certificate of 1862 in Roatan,Bay Islands, stating that a William Page Morgan married a girl called Mary Ann Jones Griffith whose father was a John Griffith with residence in Belize... Now the birth certificate of who is their grandchild, Carlos Inestroza Morgan, shows her grandma as Mary Ann Griffith, so I suppose the Jones that appears in the marriage is her mother's last name. I was always told that this was a custom in the Islands... The same happens with William Page Morgan, whose paternal last name in Morgan and maternal last name Page. In the history I have been able to collect from this particular couple I have found some conflict with their birth dates... Some people think that she was older than him, or it might have been a mistake in the marriage record. According to the record she was 38 and he was 28... If she was 38 she would have been born around 1824 and I am assuming her birthplace was in Belize! Or she might had been 28 and her birth year would be 1834. In the 1832's census there's a Mary Ann Griffith listed, is there any way to know her age at that date? The baptism record you posted in either case might be of Mary Ann's brother!... Is there anyway to have access to baptism records from before 1829? Wow... I really appreciate your time replying to my posted message :)). I am looking forward some information back from you if it's possible... But in any case.... THANK YOU VERY MUCH :)... I am taking note of this information for my records :)) Kind regards, Cecilia Chinchilla Notify Administrator about this message?
