Frederick Samuel Weir was my great grandfather. I have heard him referred to as "father Weir." I have a chart showing that his father was Hugh Tompson Weir, born in Paisley, Edinburgh, Scotland. The chart shows that Hugh had 2 sisters: Marion Weir and Florin (Weir) Ireland. I believe that Hugh's records are available on line (Ancestry dot.com); but I have not gotten around to retrieving them.
My cousin says that Hugh's sisters are buried in Scotland. In Edinburgh.
My cousin also says that Eliza Tillet was half East Indian, half English. Her father (Tillet) was in military in India, met Eliza's mum, and they went to Belize. This would be interesting to follow up on. I think that if he (Tillet) was in the army, there would be a paper record of him somewhere.
Do you have any photos of Father Weir, or Euphemia? Anybody else?
