The inside of the front cover of "The Great Story of Belize", Volume II, by Emory King contains a drawing with the caption: "The first lighthouse. It was erected at Half-Moon Caye in 1820. The picture was drawn by Thomas Pickstock, a Magistrate and somewhat dishonest merchant. We named a street in Belize City after him". I'm sure further information on Pickstocks in Belize could be gathered from the Belize archives. Regards, Byron McDonald
