McDonald's in Belize

I am looking for my information on my ancestors in Belize.

My great grandfather John Alexander McDonald died 1910 in Belize at 68 years of age, placing his birth in 1842 or 1843. Due to missing records, I have been unable to find the names of his parents.

J.A. McDonald was a member of the volunteer corps (Company A?) of British Honduras.

J.A. McDonald married Georgina McAulay Erskine in 1869. She was the daughter of John B. Erskine and Agnes Armstrong. I have found from census records that there was an Agnes Armstrong born to parents John and Martha Armstrong. Does anyone know if this is the Reverend John Armstrong, who came to Belize from England in about 1815?

If anyone has any information on McDonald's, Armstrong's, or Erskine's in Belize, I would appreciate a reply.

Many Thanks,
Byron John McDonlad
