Dear David Scoulding

I was very excited to come across your message by chance a few days ago.

My great great grandparents were Daniel and Brunelle Jex (although we were always told her name was Brunette and didn't know his name was Daniel) and my great grandmother their daughter Angela. Her son, Harry Jex Dresser, my grandfather, was killed in the Great War in 1918. His daughter, Roma, who died in 1987 was my mother.

I came across your message by chance as my daughter has been visiting Belize and I wondered if any of her distant cousins still lived there. So I typed "Jex Belize" into Google... She has since travelled on the Jex bus, been to Crooked Tree and even met a few relations!

I would be particularly interested to find out more about Brunelle (Brunette) and her ancestry and, of course, to know whether you are also connected to the Jex family.

Very best wishes
Sarah Backhouse
