I have some additional information:

John Alexander McDonald was my grandfather's grandfather. I beleive he was white, but not sure. I cannot recall his wife's name. She came from Stann Creek. His son, Edward McDonald was granddad's father. He had a brother, George McDonald who was said to have never married.

Would you happen to know anything about these names?
