I'm from Australia and my family name of Pitstock originates from Pickstock. This example of the surname Pickstock was due to mispelling some 180 years ago when our ancestor (a convict) arrived in Australia.
In England he was known as James Pickstock but in Australia the record stated James Pitstock. It is very interesting to hear that the name Pickstock exists in Belize.
