Marie,
I am a direct descendant of Charles and Adeline(L'Heureaux)Belisle. They are my great grandparents on mothers side. My research on Charles & Adeline (aka Delina)only shows 3 children: Dorilla Belisle, Alfred Belisle and Joseph Adelard Belisle (my grandfather). Joseph Adelard Belisle was born 1/8/1895 in Biddeford ME. He married my grandmother, Marie Anna Antoinette Beauregard, 2/25/1924, in Lebanon, NH. Joseph Adelard Belisle was a WWI veteran and worked for the Boston & Maine Railroad as a telegraph operator in White River Junction VT from 1947-1965. They had 3 sons and 2 daughters (all living): Edward Belisle, Joseph Albert Belisle, Theresa Belisle, Marie (Belisle)Putnam (my mother), and Thomas M. Belisle. My grandfather, Joseph Adelard died 7/6/1965 while tending to his 75 acre hobby farm in Lebanon, NH. I have corresponded with the daughter of Oliver Belisle of Tupper Lake, NY and she has sent me some information on her grandparents John & Dorilla Belisle.
