Aalter, Belgium

I am trying to do some research on my family from Belgium. My grandmother was born in Aalter, Belgium on May 13, 1896. Her name was Marie Louise DePoorter.
Her parents were also born in Aalter, Belgium. Her father's name was August DePoorter (born January 9, 1859) and her mother's name was Leonie Smessaert (born October 15, 1861).
In addition, August DePoorter's father's name was Karel Lodeivyk DePoorter and his mother's name was Melonie Van Belleghem. Leonie Smessnert's father's name was Judous Smessaert and her mother's name was Eugenia Dierckx but I don't have any birth or death dates for these ancestors.
August and Leonie were married (I assume in Aalter, Belgium) on July 16, 1891. They immigrated to America in 1906. They settled in Rushville, NE and died there. August in 1929 and Leonie in 1935. They had 6 children; 5 lived to adulthood. Alberic, Felix, Angeline, Clementine and Marie Louise (my grandmother).
