I am looking for info on my maternal grandfather. We have no record of his birth in the UK and as his mother was Belgian we can only assume he may have been born in Belgium. There is also no record of his parents marriage in the UK.
His mother may have been from Antwerp but once again not sure.
His name was Emile Pilkington (his father Leonard Pilkington) and his mother Maria Ludovica (surname unknown). Emile was born in 1886 or 1887. A Shot in the dark but is there anyone who can check these records below (in Belgium Family History Center or elsewhere)
