You must remember that during and after French Revolution, there where no closed borders, like we know today. There was a great upheavel. When a army passed, whatever people possessed was gone, plundered and worse. So with no way of providing for shelter or food they went away to anywhere.
What you can do is, provide me with their names and dates and I have look at it, but if not enough information is given to me, I don't thinck I can help you there.
