I am trying to find more information on a MELYN family from Antwerp around 1600, who married into my HATFIELD family.Maria or "Mariken" Melyn born ca. 1637 was the widow of a Claes Allerton Paradis (spelling ?) when she married Matthias Hatfield (1624-1687), perhaps in Belgium or Amsterdam, or maybe in the New World after Hatfield arrived in the 1650's. The Hatfield family were religious dissenters from England who lived for many years (generations ?) in Holland or Belgium at this time.
