Donnay - Dumont

Hi,

Please help.

I am researching my family and recently discovered that I have Belgian anscestors. They are Charles Donnay born in Verviers in 1883 and Margerite Dumont. Tney were married in 1907? and had a son Ivan who died in 1934. They lived at Rue Xhave in Verviers and also in Liege. Charles served with the 12th regiment of the Line in Liege during the Great War and was awarded the croix de guerre with palme. After the war Charles came to England but not with Margerite?!

What happened to my Belgian family? Can you please help. I have a little more information for those who maybe can help.

Thanks.

Steve
