I am looking for members of the Nerenhausen or Nierenhausen family living before 1760 in Luxembourg Province. The notary Jean Nerenhausen lived in Arlon, and also in Septfontaines and Reckange of the Grand Duchy. He had children with wife Maria from the 1670s to the 1690s. Four of his daughters, who were born in Septfontaines, married and had children born in Arlon. Is this notary identical with the Johann Paul Nerenhausen who died 26 December 1760 in Shoenfels (Mersch Parish, the Grand Duchy)??? The death record of that man describes him as 107 years old and married 5 times with 29 children and 118 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In 1719 he married Catharina Schoenberg with whom he had children born in Pettingen, Hollenfels, Reckange, and Schoenfels (Mersch and Tuntange Parishes, the Grand Duchy). In 1743 he married Margaretha Thommes or Gotthale. Please contact me if you know of any members of the Nerenhausen family and their parents living before 1760.
