I understand my MATERNAL Grandfather was Josef/Joseph Roofthooft and I believe he was from ANTWERP.He supposedly went to fight in the Boer War,returned home injured and died not long after.He left my Grandmother Anita Maria or Anna Maria, daughter Gabrielle Therese,my Mother; and another child that died in infancy.On a certificate I have Josef was listed as a Stockbroker.I only find dead ends so far and would love to find my ancestry..please help if possible.Gabrielle Liane in Australia.
