Kenyon/Patreux/Patrieux in Belguin late 1700s - early 1800s

Hi

My husband has a Kenyon in his family history who married a Patreux who was an interpreter in Napoleon's Army, apparently. A son (or grandson), James, was born a British Subject in Belgium in 1811. He appears in the first couple of English censuses, 1841 and 1851, as Patrieux and gradually the surname becomes corrupted by registrars and enumerators until it becomes Pattreiouex.
That is as much as we know. Anyone got anything more?
