Josef (ph?) Roofthooft..is listed on a certificate as my Grandfather and his livelihood as Stockbroker. I believe Antwerp was his home. He went to serve in Boer War, was injured, returned home and died soon after from his wounds. I know little more but believe my Grandmother Anna and he had my Mother Gabrielle Therese and a son who died in infancy. Also that Anna's Father EDUARD TEAMMES? once had a wine bar opposite Notre Dame Cathedral in Antwerp.I was told Gabrielle Therese was born in ROUEN FRANCE and that would have been in 1901 I think!I cannot help but wonder if that was because she was illigitimate as Anna was only 17 at time of my Mother's birth.IF ANYONE can help piece this together for me I would be very grateful it is so vague and interesting for me to find out Exactly WHO I AM..REALLY! sincerely Gabrielle Liane
