BUrcham families - Walloons

I am searching for help with my BURCHAM famiily. I have them in Mulbarton, Norfolkshire, England in 1540/1541. Then I come to the wide chasm that I'm tring to cross. I found this notation: The earlier Burcham families migrated from southwestern Belgium sometime between 1480 and 1508 and were French speaking. Also that Spain "owned" the area of Belgium at the time & that, although Spain was Roman Catholic, they were tolerant of the Walloon Protestants. Then the king changed it all & gave the Protestants a time limit to choose to leave Belgium or to become Roman Catholics. The Burcham families chose to leave & ended in England.
Can anyone help me with ANY information regarding my family or of people leaving Belgium around this time period?
