DeBUISSERET/BOULANGER origins???
I am searching for the hometown/birth-record/marriage of
Camille Eugene R. Oswald Englebert de BUISSERET. Sometime in 1853 he married Marie Catherine Josephe BOULANGER. She was from Bonlez in Brabant, Belgium, her parents were Pierre Jacques BOULANGER and Josephine FLEMAL. These parents emigrated with the rest of the BOULANGER children (6-7 children) to Red River Twp. (near the town of Thiry Daems), Kewaunee Co., Wisconsin in 1856-58. The DeBUISSERETs emigrated to near Vincennes, Knox Co., IN in 1854. It was not until after the Peshtigo fire that Marie Catherine BOULANGER was re-united with the rest of the family. The European location for the birth and marriage of Camille Eugene R. BUISSERET is unknown. Our 'family myth' has it as Paris, France, I have been searching the reconstructed Paris records without success. It could be the French Department of Nord.A death record says he was born there, BUT I have searched every 10 year birth list in the LDS-FHL covering 18 July 1823 [Camille Eugene R. de BUISSERET's birth date from his tombstone] and not found him. He could be from Hainaut, which is the BUISSERET Homeland, or Brabant, which also has a concentrations of BUISSERETs.Any ideas WELCOME.I have seen most all published BUISSERET genealogies, including the ones on the Counts de BUISSERET.Our family has since the late 1800's considered him to be of Noble birth, though I have my doubts. One of Camille Eugene R. de BUISSERET's death records (a church record written 7-8 years after his death) did call him "Baron de BUISSERET".HELP!! & THANKS!!
