If you want to know more about Crunelle, well:
The first remembered Crunelle was Léopold Crunelle in the beginning of the 19 (around 1830). He was from a small town called Tourpes, in Belgium, but very close to the French frontier. Tourpes is in fact the major town where you were able to find a lot o people called Crunelle, but you can also find some in France. But they're originally from Belgium!
A small time before the WW2, some families came in Brussels, Belgium's capital.
They're around 15 Crunelle near or in Brussels, and the same still in Tourpes.
There's a Crunelle familly in Britain (France), with Geoffroi Crunelle (Born in Brussels 1952) who is a book editor.
Marc Crunelle (Brussels 1950) who is a Architect Teacher in the Free University of Brussels, has written some books.
José Crunelle (1923) who is an well known artist in old Brussels.
Samantha Crunelle (Brussels 1977) who is a Philosophy teacher at the ESGC high school, and myself, David Crunelle (Brussels 1979) who is student and work 3/4 time in a headhunter office.
I hope you see clearer now.
Regards
Dave
