I have been researching the origins of the surname TANT since 1989.
Generally in Britain, it appears to have originated in Warwickshire around 1560 or earlier.
Recently, I have found some records of TANT in Belgium, originating about the same time; but probably unrelated and independently.
As very few of those Belgian TANT records appear on the IGI at www.familysearch.org, I would like to make contact with anyone who has researched TANT in Belgium particularly but also the adjacent parts of Holland and France.

Comme très peu de ces rapports(records) de TANT belges apparaissent sur l'IGI à www.familysearch.org, je voudrais prendre contact avec chacun qui a fait des recherches sur TANT en Belgique en particulier, mais aussi les parties adjacentes de la Hollande et la France.
