Bill -- I think that singer/songwriter Carl Belew (1931-1990) was descended from Renny Belew. Have you done any research on him? I was hoping to claim him for my line of Missouri Belews, but when I traced his family to Lawrence County, TN, I knew that he was probably in your line instead. You are lucky to have him.
