I am looking for any information on Mary Belew and Jacob Asher. One of their sons was James Columbus Asher. I have a copy of his death certificate. James Columbus was born in St Francios County, Missouri Parents Jacob Asher and Mary Belew Asher.
Columbus died 8-7-1919 in Dent Co. Missouri of old age. He lived in Boss, Missouri and was a Baptist preacher, farmer and ran the Lentz Post office for a time.Columbus' wife was Louise Reese Asher. They are both buried at Asher Cemetery in Boss near New Harmony Church.
Any Info would be appreciated.
