I've been tracing my Grandpa Bellew's lineage, but have come upon a wall. Hoping you can help...
My grandpa, Ralph Douglas Bellew, b. 1887, in Falmouth, Kentucky, d. 1969 in Lexington, Nebraska, was married to Nina Eager of NB.
Ralph Bellew was the son of Thomas E. Bellew and Alma/Almeda Daugherty Bellew, both of Kentucky. At this point, the spelling of the surname changes to "Belew".
Thomas Bellew was the son of Madison K. Bellew and Julia Tomlin, of Pendleton County, Kentucky.
The question is: Who is Madison K. Bellew/Belew? Where did he come from? Who were his parents?
