I was born and raised in Downers Grove, IL and Nathan and Fanny Belden are my great grandparents. I am amazed at finding your message. How did the Bible end up in Irwin, Iowa? A.A. Belden should be N.A. Belden. Calina should be Calsina and her middle name was Elizabeth, not Eliza. Calla (Calsina) E. Belden Bush had a son, GUY Leslie Bush, my grandfather, who was the President (Mayor) of Downers Grove, and later became the State Representative from Downers Grove.
Are you related to the person the genealogy library of Irwin was named for? Is Irwin in Fayette County? Calsina's brother lived near West Union. I was unaware of the existance of a Family Bible.
