These three names are the only ones listed in the Domesday Book, ( listing of all assets and major citizens in survey by King William in 1086. Our direct linage during this period would be Gamel, son of Osmund and/or Ulf, son of Gamel. Gamel was living in 1086 and was owner of several bere4wicks. No sons of Gamel are mensioned as such in the Domesdar Report, but there are indications. Does anyone know if any of these persons are listed in the Domesday Report?
