Orson C. Belden, son of Paul and Miranda Belden, was born in Castile, Wyoming Co., NY, in 1827, and married Miss CORNELIA F. PEET, daughter of Rufus and Cornelia Peet, of Castile, Wyoming Co.,NY. They had four children. Mr. Belden died in 1871, he held the office of commissioner of highways.
