Belcher Genealogy:
Hello, my name is Tone Belcher, and I was wondering if anyone has information on a Curtis Belcher, born 01/25/1928 in Elba Alabama ( I think). This was my Grandfather. He was in the airforce sometime in the 40s', and Married my Grandmother Asneath Eddings sometime around 1956. I have always heard that the family originated in Elba Alabama, but since there is no one left but me, I have limited sources for our history. Actually; "I have never met anyone else with my name in my life, and its actually very interesting to now find that there are many of us". If anyone can assist me I would be greatful as I would like to provide my Mother with this info on her father. Here are some facts about Curtis: He was born on 01/25/1928. Black Man. Enlisted in the Airforce and was an MP. He married Asneath Eddings from Panama City Fl. around 1956-57, and had my mother Rosia Belcher. He passed in May of 1982, but we have never known his parents names or any family members he may have left. I thank you for your help.
