Hi Christina,

Its been a while, but I've found some info. My great uncle has participated in the Belcher y-dna project, and had a perfect match on the 37 marker test. The other Belcher ancestors that he matched, came from Wood County and Rusk County, Texas. We have been unable to find a link between the families. The first of their Texas ancestors came to Wood County in the 1840's, as my ancestor did not come to Titus County until the 1860's. As geographically close as these areas are, I feel that they must have been related, and possibly what brought my gggrandfather to TExas. However, we have not found the link as of yet. Obviously, there is a link because of the dna match. Audie Presley Belcher is the name of the match to my uncle. I will contact his sister and see if she knows of Lillian. If you would like to email me directly for more info, you may do so at delfelder@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Laine Delfelder
