I am looking for any information on a JAMES BARNETT and his wife MARY or ELIZBETH BELCHER.
JAMES BARNETT b. Virginia
One known son JAMES aka RUSSELL BARNETT 1819-1917 Va> Morgan Co Ky > Eliott Ky. buried Barnett Cemetery.
ELIZABETH or MARY ( BETSEY, BETSY ) BELCHER born in Ireland.
Her first name is from family and surname BELCHER from RUSSELL BARNETT's Certificate of Death.
My great grandfather was WILLIAM MORGAN BARNETT B. 4-16-1832 Va d. 8-31-1917 Castlewood Russell Co Va . WILLIAM aka MORGAN lived in Green Scioto Ohio, Morgan Co Ky and Castlewood Russell Co Va.
His death record lists a JAMES BARNETTE & MARY BELCHER as his parents. I believe JAMES RUSSELL & WILLIAM MORGAN were related as well as a GEORGE CANLER BARNETT b. 1838 Va d. after 1870 Ky., also a FRANCES BARNETT b. 1823 Va d. Ky married to JOHN H.RAMSEY.
Any leads would be greatly, appreciated. I have used the BELCHER BLUES as a resource but they don't have my BELCHER gg-grandmother listed.
