I lost your message! Elijah Clark Belcher was a brother to Abner. Elijah had 2 wives, #l was Georgia Ann Wells whom he met in Arkansas while he was helping to transport the Indians on the Trail of Tears to Oklahoma. His second wife was Emaline Bruner, from whom he had Samuel Anthony Belcher, (My Sam is Samuel Anthony Belcher III). Elijah was born in Jasper Co., maybe in 1812. Abner was born in 1795. Obadiah was supposed to be their father and he was married to Mary ??Cooper. Please straighten out all these Obadiahs for me if you can. I will take all the info on all of them that you can give me. I also have a friend, Freda Belcher Perdue, who is from Wyoming Co., WVa. I am also trying to follow her line for her. Thanks, Jane
