It looks to me like the 1930 census says that Ellen is 81, widowed and the mother of Ellis Belcher. Ellis is 48 and divorced. The James Doyle family is next to him. Mollie Doyle is 48 but has two Carter children listed as stepsons to James Doyle. They are William Carter 21 and Okla? 19. Was she married to a Carter before she married James Doyle? If Mollie is a daughter of Ellen, this would make Ellis and Mollie brother and sister. Ellis had been married to a Bertha. They are together in 1920 and 1910 but must be divorced in 1930. In 1930 Bertha is living with her children in Bluefield WV. Children James b. 1905, Mary E. b. 1908, Dorothy b. 1915 and Ester b. 1921.
