Charles, Was looking back over some old messages and came across yours. Have you researched in the Mormon church? I have some copies of the IGI I made years ago.
There are a Charles William and a Charley William listed.
Charles William md. Maria Louisa Mathena 19 June 1895. Is this your grandfather? They were married in Ingleside, Mercer County WV.
The other is a male child born 13 Sept 1871 at Putnam, Kanawha River. (don't understand, this location) Relative listed is Raleigh Lee Mathena. Hope this helps a little.
