Hallo,

My interest in the Belcher family is as follows: In the 1881 London Census WILLIAM BELCHER and wife KATE (CATHARINE ALICE) BELCHER and their 5 children Mabel, John Butler, Harry, Edith and Hilda, all living at 74 Overstone Road, Hammersmith, Middlesex, London.

I am particularly interested as, also on ths census at that address was my grandfather LEWIS BUTLER ROSS, aged 2, stated as Nephew. Whose nephew was he: William's or Kate's; if so who was his mother and her maiden name. And what significance is the middle name BUTLER in both Lewis' and John's name?
