Charles,
I'm so glad to see someone else looking for the same person. Dr. George Washington Belcher was my great-great grandfather. I have a small amount of information on several generations back. I can not seem to connect him back farther than 1796 or somewhere about that date. I am not at home with my information as I write this. I am related to him through his daughter, Bertha Partheney Belcher. She was born to him and his first wife. He was a Dr. in Ripley County before crossing the state line into Arkansas. Please contact me...Sue
