There is a lot about the Gov on the internet, such as the following search will reveal:
http://www.google.com/search?q=Governor+%22Jonathan+Belcher%22

If you look at older messages on this forum you will find more than I have at hand.

I am descended from him via his son, also named Jonathan Belcher, who was the first chief justice of Nova Scotia, then his son Andrew Belcher about which I have only seen a few meeting minutes refs in Canadian history sites, then his son Admiral Sir Edward Belcher married to Lady Diana who was the nephew of one of the two pardoned crew from the Mutiny on the Bounty. The Governor's writings are still about, because he established the land grant for Princeton, so you should be able to find out about the ships he took. I'm sure he made several trips between the colonies and England. There are some passenger manifests around if you are patient in trawling the web. Good luck.
