I am searching for the birthplace of James William Belch, born Oct. 22 1850. He died in Moundsville, WVA on Feb 15, 1915. His wife was Emma Ice.

He was the child of John Belch (b. 1817) and Margaret Dunn (b. 1824). Information on them would also be appreciated.

I have some information that the family may have come from North Carolina but have no documentation.
