You can get details on this by going to the closest Mormon Family History Center and asking for the microfilm version of the Slownik Geograficzny, a 19th century Russian geographical dictionary. This gives the names of the major landowners.
If you're lucky, the FHC will already have a copy of the Slownik microfilm in its permanent collection, and you won't even have to order it.
If you have to order it, it will take a few weeks to arrive and cost you about $3. If you don't know Polish, you'll need a translator or a good translating dictionary and a lot of patience, because the Slownik is in Polish.
