Searching for SIEKIS (sounds like sharekees) family from Russia c 1858. Rudis the Red was the
first STRAVINSKI changing name from SIEKIS to accomodate the political climate. Rudis had
three sons. Augustus was one of them. His sibling had children Adam and Rose. Augustus married
Agota Maiscaiutas/Masse/Mellius. They had sons Anthony, Frank, George, Ambrose and Kajeton
b 1878, Grodno, plus daughter Augustina. All sons but Anthony migrated to Massachusetts 1897 &
1898. Daughter emigrated to Pennsylvania with daughter ?Josephine?. In the USA family used
variations of name such as STRAVINK, STRAVINSKAS, STRAWINSKY, SHAKIS and
STROVINK. Would like to find living family members in Russia, Belarus, Lithuania and ??.
