Susan,

First to follow up on the passenger manifest posted by Zlatica above.

If indeed the person she found on the passenger manifest is related, there are 3 villages in Belarus named Buzuny (Бузуны). 1 of them is however right next to Pruzhany, about 6 km North. http://wikimapia.org/16464981/ru/%D0%91%D1%83%D0%B7%D1%83%D0%BD%D1%8B

As you noted in your message Kudrejko is not uncommon. If however, Buzuny is the original village your ancestors are from and there are Kudrejkos there nowadays, the chances they are related to you are very high.

I could not find a phone book online for the village, but you could try sending a letter to the local village committee to ask them to put you in contact with Kudrejkos in Buzuny:

Пружанский сельский исполнительный комитет. Республика Беларусь, Брестская область, г.Пружаны, ул. Лазо, д.6 тел: 9 26 97
Pruzhany village executive committee. 6 Lazo str. Pruzhany, Brest region, Belarus. phone: +375 1632 1 26 97

You would have to write in Russian or Belarusian, but using translate.google.com to attach a text in Russian or Belarusian along with English should do the trick. I am sure also they have emails there but I could not find them.

If you know a Russian speaker, you could also make a phone call to the number above.

Alex
