Thank you for the response! Brother Adam in on the list and brother John might be as well. Again, it appears that everyone from Tatarsky emigrated with the same surname.

I am not sure about the name change. My grandmother did not speak about her time in Europe for very long without getting very upset. She was born in 1900 and brother Adam came over in 1911 so I would guess between 1906-1910? They all used the new name or a variety of it during the journey. Only Adam lists Malinowsky in addition to Melgui.

My grandmother was Roman Catholic. Do any records exist for that area? I have found none.
