Thanks for the information. I've since found out that Larissa was born in Harbin in 1919 and her mother, Sophie, was born in Irkutsk, Russia. Her father, Anatoly, died in Shanghai before 1941.

Larissa and her mother came to Australia from Shanghai in 1949. Their sponsor lived in Brisbane.

My interest in the Sacovitch family, is that Larissa married my Grandfather, Thomas Ward, in Shanghai in 1941. She was his second wife. She entered Australia as Larissa Ward and then I don't know what happened to her.
