Stefan was born about 1925 in a village called Plebantse near Dolginova now in Belarus (then in Poland). During WW2 Germans came to the village to shoot all inhabitants. He escaped, walked across occupied Europe to Paris. Eventually settled in UK. We think he was not Jewish. Stefan died 2 years ago. His grandson seeks any information about Stefan or his family. We hope to visit Plebantse durin 2009.
