Thank you Hania for the information. Someone recently contacted me to say that a search at the archives is almost $100!
Would you or anyone else at this forum know about obituaries appearing in the local newspapers in Pinsk or elsewhere in Belarus? What happens when someone dies - is there a death notice or obituary in the newspaper listing the time of the funeral/burial, and listing family members or other information about the deceased? I would like to know if it is worth contacting the local newspapers in Pinsk. Thanks, Linda
