Recently started tracing my family roots.Grandfather was Wladyslaw Szmid. After World War One worked on the Trans-Siberian railway, met my grandmother Nadzieja Karsiuk in Vladivostok,Manchuria before returning to Poland, had two brothers.Settled in village of Achrymowicze,Hrycewicze, Nieswiez.Have found this on a map spelt Ochromowicze! Originally grandfather thought to be from around Lublin? Grandmother also had two brothers in Ciasnowka, who stayed behind after my family were deported to Siberia in February 1940.They had four children, the females all spelt their names with a 't' on the end, whereas the males with a 'd'.No explanation why!Any one knew them or the village please get in touch.Thanking you in anticipation.
