Help! In 1920, my grandmother Luba Menenko left Russia. She married and American Navy man. We were told that her family stayed behind. There are conflicting stories. She told us she had an older brother named Sergei who became an actor. He took the stage name Sergei Menen. (We have a program that features him in a Moscow performance.) There was a sister named Vera or Vickie and a brother named Peter. We were always told by Grandma that here family was poor and from Vladivostok. Another story has surfaced that they were well off and had flour mills in Minsk, but were killed by the Bolsheviks. We would love to locate our long lost relatives and know the truth about our heritage.
